Yes! We are working closely once again this year with our tree farm in Canada along with the Department of Agriculture here in Cayman to assure an on time and issue free arrival! They usually arrive around the end of November. BUT, you need to Pre-order to guarantee you have a tree on the order!
The trees are now arriving on Friday, Nov 29th. Our inspection of the trees with the Dept. of Ag is now scheduled for Saturday, Nov 30th - who look to make sure there are no invasive insects that hitched a ride from Canada. Once the trees have passed and are released, they will be available for pickup and delivery. Check our Tree Lot hours in one of the FAQs and follow us on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates.
When you order your tree, you can select delivery or pickup. If you would like delivery, we personally hand deliver your tree and other ordered items to your front door - and can help with setup if needed. Pickups are free and will be available at our pop up Christmas Tree Lot location at the Regatta Business Park (across from Cost-U-Less). See info about our tree lot hours in the FAQs. The Lot is always a Winter Wonderland with nightly snowfalls and visits from Santa! We look forward to seeing you at our family friendly Christmas Tree Lot to pick out your tree, but make sure you pre-order your tree first!
Yes, but only if you cancel your order prior to our order dispatch to the tree farm, which will be the last week in October. Once we dispatch the order, we cannot offer a refund as the trees will have already been paid for and shipped. For other items and more information, please see our Terms & Conditions page.
Most homes have either 8 ft ceilings or 10 ft ceilings (or larger). Our sizes are quoted from the base of the trunk to the top of the tree. So, you will want to know how tall your ceiling is, and then allow additional space for your tree topper and some space between the topper and the ceiling. Your tree stand may also add a few inches as well. Remember, the trees are measured for height prior to us giving it a fresh cut on the trunk so it will begin to take on water again - the fresh cut will knock off a couple of inches to the height.
All tree heights are quoted in ranges because the natural factors driving their growth are too difficult to control to deliver trees of an exactly uniform range of sizes.
It would be impractical to measure the exact height of every tree so growers and retailers categorize trees based on an approx range in height - this is standard across the entire industry.
Absolutely! Look for this option in the Add On section when you're checking out! Once you select this option for an additional fee, we will set up a time after Christmas that works for you to retrieve your tree. No hassle and no needles in your car!
The Balsam fir grows from Newfoundland to Alberta and everywhere in between. It’s the number one choice of Christmas tree in Quebec, and the official provincial tree of New Brunswick. While the Scotch pine wins the popularity contest, the Balsam fir is definitely the most Canadian Christmas tree! Fraser firs may be fantastic trees, but Balsam fir trees are the O.G. Christmas tree for a few reasons. Their needles sport two colors on top and bottom, adding shades of silver to your dark green Christmas tree. And in the old days, Balsam firs and White Pines were the only trees whose branches could accommodate candles. They also retain their splendor, fragrance, and needles longer! They are also more resistant to pests that we don't want in Cayman!
